Decision on Fifth Grant of “Project to Promote Computerization in Disaster Region” in Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Measures (Initial Budget for FY2012)

   The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) made the decision on the fifth grant concerning the “Project to Promote Computerization in Disaster Region” supported by the initial budget for FY2012, and it is officially announced herein.

1. Outline

(1) Targets in this project
      Special local public bodies (including partial-affairs associations and wide area unions) or related bodies including them (hereinafter, “special local public bodies, etc.”) in Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Special District Law for Reconstruction from Great Earthquake Disasters in Eastern Japan (Act No. 122 of 2011)

(2) Subsidized projects
      This project subsidizes the following projects which promote reconstruction in the disaster regions by providing support to efforts for solving issues of special local public bodies through use of information and communications technology (ICT) in an efficient and effective manner.

     Decision on fifth issue wasmade with respect to the following projects.
