Appeal for Opinions on Revision of Ministerial Ordinances, etc. related to Introduction of Next-generation High-speed Wireless LAN

1. Outline

　　Related ministerial ordinances, etc. will be revised by establishing technical requirements in the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment for the purpose of introducing “next-generation high-speed wireless LAN system” to the 5GHz-band as wireless LAN that is capable of transmitting information at an effective speed of 1Gbps.

- Draft ministerial ordinance for partial revision of the Ordinance Concerning Technical Regulations Conformity Certification of Specified Radio Equipment
- Draft notice for partial revision of the notice of MIC No.424 of 1994 (Subject stipulating the conditions, etc. for identification codes based on the provisions of Ordinance Concerning Terminal Facilities Etc.)
- Draft ministerial ordinance for partial revision of the notice of MIC No.48 of 2007 (Subject stipulating the technical requirements for radio equipment of radio stations of low-power data communication systems)
- Draft notice for stipulating the place of use of radio equipment of radio stations of low-power data communication systems based on the provisions of Article 6, Paragraph 4, Item (iv)-3 and Item (iv)-5 of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Act
