
“Final Report on Structure for Adjustment of Operation of White Space Use Systems” and Official Announcement of Results of Appeal for Opinions
The Meeting for White Space Promotion (Chairman: Norihisa Doi, Professor of Research and Development Initiatives, Chuo University) has held the “Meeting for White Space Promotion: Working Group for White Space Use” (Chief investigator: Hiroyuki Morikawa, Professor of Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo) toward the utilization of white space.
A “final report on structure for adjustment of operation of white space use systems” was now compiled and it is officially announced herein.
In addition, an appeal for opinions on a “draft final report on structure for adjustment of operation of white space use systems” was held before the final report was compiled. The opinions submitted and the views thereon are officially announced herein.
1.Background
The Meeting for White Space Promotion has held the “Meeting for White Space Promotion: Working Group for White Space Use” (hereinafter “Working Group”) to bring forward deliberations on how to utilize white space.
An appeal for opinions on the “draft final report on structure for adjustment of operation of white space use systems” was held from December 14, 2012 to January 4, 2013. In response, opinions were submitted from 17 parties. The “final report on structure for adjustment of operation of white space use systems” was compiled based on the opinions submitted, and it is officially announced herein.
In addition, the opinions submitted in response to the draft final report and the views on those opinions of the Working Group are officially announced herein.
