National Telework Seminar (Project for Nationwide Telework Diffusion) to be Held

  The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has implemented a project for disseminating and promoting telework in this fiscal year as “Project for Nationwide Telework Diffusion.”
  A seminar on effectiveness of telework and its introduction method will be held in 20 cities nationwide in February and March 2013 mainly for managers of small-and-medium-sized businesses and persons who are involved in support therefor as a part of this project and it is officially announced herein.

1.Major contents of this seminar

  (1) Lectures and Q&A sessions will be given by instructors with regard to the following items
  - Advantages and significance of telework
  - Ideal state of human resources management and ensuring of information security related to the introduction of telework
  - Points related to the introduction of telework
  - Introduction of draft telework security guidelines
  (2) Small-and-medium-sized businesses which have actually introduced telework will introduce the process from introduction of telework to its operation, effects, and troubles they underwent
   

2.Time and places

  The seminar will be held in 20 cities nationwide in February and March 2013.
