Hearing of Opinions on “Technical Requirements for Upgrading of Field Pick-up Unit” from Parties Concerned
The Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council, has started deliberating on “the technical requirements for Field Pick-up Unit using 120GHz band” among “the technical requirements for upgrading of Field Pick-up Unit” from January 18, 2013, and will compile a report by July 2013.
An opportunity will be prepared for the parties concerned to state at the Broadcasting System Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council to be held on February 26, 2013. If you wish to express your opinion, please make an application in accordance with the following guidelines.
1.Parties concerned eligible for statement of opinions
Academic experts or persons who have knowledge of Field Pick-up Unit using 120GHz band (116GHz~134GHz) among “the technical requirements for upgrading of Field Pick-up Unit (No restriction on nationality)
2.Method of statement of opinions
The statement of opinions will be held in Japanese language at the Broadcasting System Subcommittee, Department on Information and Communications Technology, Information and Communications Council to be held on February 26, 2013. In the case where it is difficult to state your opinion on said date for certain reasons, it is allowed to submit it in writing (limited to Japanese language).
3.Necessary procedures for statement of opinions
In order to express an opinion, please submit a document containing the name (in the case of any juridical person or organization (hereinafter “juridical person, etc.”), the name of said juridical person, etc., name of representative thereof, and position and name of the person who is going to state an opinion), occupation (this is not required for juridical persons, etc.) and gist of said opinion by postal mail, FAX or E-mail to the following address by February 18 (Mon), 2013, 6:00PM. We may make necessary adjustments due to the time for investigation. Persons who state their opinions shall bear all costs required.
