Appeal for Opinions on Draft Review of Addresses to which Applications for Radio Operator License, etc. are Submitted

1.Background

  In line with the revision of the Ministerial Ordinance for Expansion of Class Forms of Training Courses (Ministerial Ordinance of MIC No.56 of 2012, revised in June 2012), it was decided to require for persons who passed the national examination to submit an application for radio operator license or application for reissuance thereof to places where they sat in said examination and for persons who completed training courses, etc. to submit it to Regional Bureau of Telecommunications (including Okinawa Office of Telecommunications) that supervise addresses of applicants.
  However, this causes a problem that radio operators who own several licenses have to submit applications for reissuance to different addresses for each license when they make applications for reissuance. Therefore, a draft review was compiled for enabling that the addresses to which applications may be submitted are expanded for the purpose of improving the convenience for making applications in line with the enforcement of the revision in June 2012 (April 1, 2013), and an appeal for opinions on the draft compiled will be held.

  (2) Deadline for submission of opinions March 1 (Fri), 2013, 5:00PM (submission by mail must be postmarked by this date)
   

3.Future plans

  The works for revising related laws and regulations will be made based on opinions submitted.
