Appeal for Opinions on Draft Institutional Improvement of Field Pick-up Unit Using 1.2GHz band and 2.3GHz Band

  On January 25, 2013, a partial report on the “Technical Requirements for Field Pick-up Unit Using 1.2GHz band and 2.3GHz Band” was issued by the Information and Communications Council. In response to this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) created a draft institutional improvement and will hold an appeal for opinions on this draft institutional improvement from January 31 (Thu) to March 1 (Fri), 2013.

1.Outline

  A partial report on the technical requirements for Field Pick-up Unit using 1.2GHz band and 2.3GHz band was issued by the Information and Communications Council on January 25, 2013. In response to this, the MIC created the draft institutional improvement on Field Pick-up Unit using 1.2GHz band and 2.3GHz band, and an appeal for opinions on this draft institutional improvement will be held

  - Draft Ministerial Ordinance for Partial Revision of the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment (Radio Regulatory Commission Rules No. 18 of 1950) Notification
  (2) Deadline March 1 (Fri), 2013, 5:00PM
  The draft institutional improvement, etc. will be posted in the column of “press release” on the MIC website (http://www.soumu.go.jp) and the column of “public comments” on the e-government portal (e-Gov) (http://www.e-gov.go.jp).
   

3.Future plans

  The MIC will carry out the institutional improvement based on opinions submitted, and the inquiry to and report from the Radio Regulatory Council. The Examination Standards related to the Radio Act (No.67 of 2001) relating to this case will be revised separately.
