Results of Appeal for Opinions on Partial Revision of Subject Prescribing Particulars of Regulations for Telecommunications Numbers

  The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) held an appeal for opinions on a draft notice for partial revision of the subject prescribing particulars of the Regulations for Telecommunications Numbers (Notice of MPT No.574 of 1997) from December 12, 2012 to January 11, 2013. However, no opinion was submitted in response.
  The MIC will swiftly revise it as in the original plan based on this result.
   

1.Outline of revision

  The notice will be partially revised in order to unify the sections of numbers* for Yamaguchi City (excluding former Ajisu-cho and former Tokuji-cho), Yamaguchi Prefecture.
  *Sections which indicate the range where local calls are available. Phone calls can be made between areas belonging to the same section of number using numbers starting from local telephone codes.
 

2.Results

  An appeal for opinions was held from December 12, 2012 to January 11, 2013. However, no opinion was submitted.
 

3.Future plans

  The MIC will swiftly revise the notice as in the original plan based on this result.
