Public Appeal for Proposals on Project to Promote Development of ICT Super-aging Society by FY2012 Supplementary Budget

1.Outline of project

  (1) Persons subject to public appeal for proposals
  Private corporations (corporations or non-profit organizations established based on acts), local public bodies, incorporated administrative agencies, universities, etc., or consortiums consisting thereof (hereinafter “private corporations, etc.”) 
  (2) Outline of project
  A project to demonstrate advance models of a super-aging society taking advantage of ICT will be implemented by entrustment for the purpose of solving local issues faced by a super-aging society through the use of ICT and realizing a vigorous super-aging society.
   

2.Guidelines for appeal for opinions

  (1) Deadline for submission: April 15 (Mon), 2013, 17:00PM (submission of opinions by mail must also arrive by this date)
  (2) Method of submission of proposal:
   Please create a written proposal in accordance with the guidelines for the public appeal and the guidelines for creation of written proposals and bring it to the counter of the following division by hand or send it by mail.
   

3.Selection of candidate trustees

  The MIC is responsible for selecting candidate trustees based on results of evaluations made by external experts.
 

4.Future schedule

  The rough schedule is as follows. It may subject to change due to the state of selection of candidate trustees.
  May 2013: Implementation of external evaluations and selection of candidate trustees
  June 2013: Consultations of terms and conditions of contract and conclusion of contract of entrustment
