MPHPT announces results of invitation to comments on partial amendment of Examination Standards for the Radio Law (regarding radio stations for fire fighting use, general use passenger transport vehicle use, and operations related to natural disasters)

The MPHPT invited comments from the public between August 19 (Tues.) and September 18 (Thurs) on a partial amendment of Examination Standards for the Radio Law regarding the introduction of digital mobile wireless systems for fire fighting use and general use passenger transport vehicle use (hereafter referred to as "taxi business use") and retransmission sub-stations found in multiple address radio communications systems for radio stations used in operations related to natural disasters. There were 22 comments submitted as a result.

The MPHPT will take these results into consideration and plans to make the amendment promptly.
