MPHPT, METI, and NPSC seek research and development information on technology concerning access control functions


The National Public Safety Commission, MPHPT Minister, and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Minister make official announcements on the status of research and development concerning access control functions, as specified in the regulations in article 7-1 of the Law Concerning Prohibition of Illegal Access to Computer Systems (Unauthorized Access law) which was enacted in August 1999.

Information is being sought on research and development for inclusion in the announced documentation, and the information that is received will be included in the documentation announced by the three government bodies in order to contribute to the implementation of unauthorized access countermeasures.
