MPHPT announces third report of the Study Group on Policies for Effective Radio Spectrum Use

The MPHPT set up in February a sub-group on promotion of radio stations requiring no license, under the Study Group on Policies for Effective Radio Spectrum Use (chaired by TAGAYA Kazuteru, Vice President of Chiba University). The sub-group has investigated a blueprint of the expense apportionment for the reallocation of the radio spectrum for low-power radio stations.

The Study Group on Policies for Effective Radio Spectrum Use has compiled and is announcing its third report on development trends of low-power radio stations and issues concerning the reallocation of the radio spectrum for them.

In conjunction with the compilation of the report, comments were widely invited from the public. The MPHPT is releasing the comments submitted as well as the Study Group's responses to them.
