MPHPT announces registration of European Community conformity assessment body based on the Agreement on Mutual Recognition between Japan and the European Community



On December 19, 2003, CETECOM ICT Services GmbH of Germany was registered as a conformity assessment body for specified export equipment bound for Japan, based on the Agreement on Mutual Recognition between Japan and the European Community (Treaty No. 11, 2001). This is the second body to be registered, following TELEFICATION B.V. of the Netherlands in February 2003.

From now on, CETECOM ICT Services GmbH will be able to implement conformity assessments based on the Radio Law and the Telecommunications Business Law for specified radio equipment and terminal equipment bound for Japan.
