MPHPT invites comments concerning draft amendment of MPHPT guidelines on implementation of info-communications R&D evaluation

The MPHPT received guidelines to evaluate R&D in the field of info-communications and enacted the MPHPT guidelines on implementation of info-communications R&D evaluation. Two years after the enactment of these guidelines, the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology will start operation as an independent administrative institute in April 2004, and the MPHPT's R&D policy system will be restructured. Taking this and the fact that, in recent years, standardization and a strategy for knowledge assets have become increasingly important from the R&D viewpoint, into consideration, the MPHPT has decided to amend these guidelines. In advance of the amendment of these guidelines, the MPHPT is inviting comments from the general public concerning the draft amendment of the guidelines.

Comments concerning the draft amendment of these guidelines can be submitted via email, mail or fax, until 5pm on March 12.
