MPHPT to hold Conference on Evaluation of the State of Competition in the Telecommunications Business



The MPHPT will be holding a Conference on the Evaluation of the State of Competition in the Telecommunications Business -Looking to the Next Step in Competitive Policies on June 14, in cooperation with the Kobe University Graduate School of Law working on 21st Century COE Program, the Telecommunications Carriers Association, and the Telecom Services Association.

Conference Goal:
The MPHPT announced the Evaluation of the State of Competition in the Telecommunications Business Field (draft) on April 27, and is currently inviting comments from the public, planning to finalize the Evaluation of the State of Competition in the Telecommunications Business Field for FY 2003 by the end of June.

The MPHPT is therefore holding this conference in order to create a forum for discussion concerning competitive policies in the telecommunications field, along with summarizaing the state of competition in fiscal 2003.
