MPHPT announces i) results of invitation to comments on draft amendment to the Guidelines on the Protection of Personal Information in the Telecommunications Business and, ii) an interim report from the Study Group Concerning Information Privacy in the Telecommunications Business Field


The MPHPT announced and conducted an invitation to comments on the draft amendment to the Guidelines on the Protection of Personal Information in the Telecommunications Business, taking into consideration debates from the Study Group Concerning Information Privacy in the Telecommunications Business Field (chaired by Prof. HORIBE Masao, Chuo University). As a result, the MPHPT received comments from 11 people.

The study group has taken these comments into consideration, and has now compiled an interim report on the amendment to the Guidelines.
