ITU to hold World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-04)



The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will hold its World Telecommunications Standardization Assembly in Florianopolis, Brazil, from October 5 to 14. There will be 41 people attending from Japan, led by Mr. KITO, Director-General for Technology Policy Coordination of MIC, and including communications business operators, manufacturers and people from related organizations.

The MIC will be working towards further development of standardization by the ITU, and will make a positive effort for the success of this assembly through cooperation with related countries, so as to continue to fulfill Japan's leadership role.
