MIC announces results of invitation for comments and issues new invitation for comments concerning interconnection to category 1 designated telecommunications facilities of NTT East and NTT West



The Information and Communications Council received on October 19, an inquiry from the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications concerning a draft amendment of tariffs concerning interconnection to category 1 designated telecommunications facilities of NTT East and NTT West (revision of interconnection charges for the optical signal branch subscriber line used to provide the shared access system).

The council conducted an invitation for comments concerning this draft amendment of interconnection tariffs from October 19 until November 17.

The council is taking into consideration the comments, and renews its invitation for comments, in Japanese, until December 2.

The council will take the comments that were already received plus the new comments into consideration in conducting its investigation, and will submit a report for the Minister.
