The MIC invited comments from August 6 to September 6, 2004, concerning a draft plan for IMT-2000 frequency arrangement in the 800MHhz band, so as to move ahead with the reorganization of the 800MHz band.

Having taken into consideration the results of the invitation to comment and the exchange of comments at the Study Group to Examine Expanded Use of Frequency Bands for Mobile Services which met between October 21, 2004, and February 3, 2005, the MIC has decided on a policy as per the original draft. The MIC is now announcing its views concerning comments of the invitation to comment, in Japanese.
