MIC sets Standard Contract Tariffs for Paid Broadcasting Services Depending on Digital Broadcasts Using Artificial Satellites




The MIC invited comments from January 7 until February 4, 2005 concerning Standard Contract Tariffs for Paid Broadcasting Services Depending on Digital Broadcasts Using Artificial Satellites, and received a total of 75 comments from 6 people.

The MIC also submitted today an inquiry concerning the draft that took into consideration the results of those comments to the Radio Regulatory Council (chaired by Prof. YASUDA Yasuhiko, Waseda University), and received a report from the council stating that the draft was appropriate.

The MIC will set Standard Contract Tariffs for Paid Broadcasting Services Depending on Digital Broadcasts Using Artificial Satellites, taking this report into consideration and looking to insure an appropriate approach to the protection of personal information.
