MIC announces results of invitation to comments on draft report concerning Measures for Preserving Important Communications Such as Emergency Messages on IP Networks




The Committee for the Advancement of Emergency Message Systems (chaired by Prof. DOI Norihisa, Chuo University) of the Information and Communications Technology Sub-Council of the Information and Communications Council has been investigating measures for preserving important communications, such as emergency messages, on IP networks since March 2004. The committee compiled a draft report concerning these measures and invited comments on the report from January 28 until February 25, 2005. Comments were received from 7 people as a result.
