Progress Report of Analog TV Frequency Change Support Services to Date and Those in November 2005

In order to ensure frequencies for terrestrial digital TV broadcasting, the analog TV frequency change support measures (measures for facilitating digital TV reception) have been taken since February 2003. During February 2003 and October 2005, the installation work in accordance with the analog TV frequency change support measures has been completed, which accounts for 3.51 million households (82.3% of all households within the target areas) in 495 areas. The installation work under a plan of the analog TV frequency change support measures has been steadily implemented.
In November 2005, the measures will be taken in 36 areas for 166,000 households.
