"u-Japan Best Practices" to Be Invited

In a ubiquitous network society, it is expected that utilization of ICT, which has become one of established social infrastructures, will play a key role to address various social problems, including the declining birthrate and the aging society.
Under such circumstances, MIC has been collecting useful cases concerning ICT service systems, which connect various persons and goods with each other as well as resolve problems arising in day-to-day lives or business scenes. Thus, MIC invites "u-Japan Best Practices" with the purpose of raising public awareness by presenting thereof as useful models in the ubiquitous network society. Outstanding cases will be awarded at the "the fiscal 2006 Radio Day and Info-Communications Promotion Month Central Memorial Ceremony," to be held on June 1, 2006.
Those wishing to apply for, please download the official form and fill out thereof using the Japanese language, and send it to MIC (u-bestpractice@ml.soumu.go.jp) during the period from March 7 through 28, 2006.
