An Event Marking 1,000 Days to the Termination of Terrestrial
Analog TV Broadcasting to Be Held

On July 24, 2011, terrestrial analog TV broadcasting will be terminated to complete the transition to terrestrial digital broadcasting.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), together with the Association for Promotion of Digital Broadcasting, will hold a publicity event in Sennichimae, Osaka, on October 27 of this year, which marks 1,000 days before July 24, 2011, as part of their publicity effort.
