Prior to inviting proposals on research and development to be launched in fiscal 2009 for the expansion of radio frequency resources, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) drafted a basic R&D plan and invited public comment thereon from February 17 until March 16, 2009.
As MIC received no comment, it is now soliciting proposals on R&D projects to consign.
These R&D efforts are included in the draft budget for fiscal 2009. The proposals are invited beforehand so that the projects can be initiated immediately following budget approval. Accordingly, please note that details are subject to change.

As MIC received no comment, it finalized the plan as per the draft. Based on the plan, it now solicits proposals on research and development to be launched in fiscal 2009 for the expansion of radio frequency resources.
