Proposals Invited on Safety Evaluation Technology for Radio
Waves in FY 2009

With a view toward consignment of research and development on safety evaluation technology for radio waves in fiscal 2009, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) invites R&D proposals as follows.

1. Invitation period
From Friday, March 27 until Monday, April 20, 2009

2. Evaluation technology proposals to be invited and estimated budget
MIC conducts R&D on evaluation technology using the spectrum user fee fund. When inviting proposals on safety evaluation technology for radio waves, MIC specifies the R&D topics sought. It then consigns selected proposals to private research institutions and such.

In fiscal 2009, MIC invites proposals on the two topics below. It will finalize the estimated maximum budget shown in the table below by considering the results of external assessment and other factors.
MIC will select one proposal per topic, in principle.
