The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) accepted comments concerning the project to revitalize local economies through the offering of local information transmission services, as a part of the activities of the ICT Local Economic Revitalization Project (Ubiquitous Zone Project) from February 13, to March 13, 2009.

The decision of the consigner candidate, along with the organization of a meeting to exchange ideas was decided after the evaluation of the proposal content by an outside expert.

Outline of the Project

This project will revitalize whole local economies by constructing based which can transmit information simply and at a moderate price even from localities which have few communication technicians and by making it possible to directly transmit various local information from that locality, which will exponentially expand the power to transmit local information, and improve the activities of local telecommunication industries along with other industries.
