The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold the Study Group Regarding the Long-Run Incremental Cost Model to study the assessment of connection fees for fixed phones after 2011.
Purpose
The current long-run incremental cost model is being used for the three years from 2007 to 2010 as the method to calculate the connection fees for fixed phones. The MIC will hold the Study Group Regarding the Long-Run Incremental Cost Model to study the assessment of connection fees after 2011.
Note: The Long-run Incremental Cost model is a method of calculation not based on the actual occurring costs (historical cost) of the network operators costs, but the costs (forward looking cost) of the current cheapest and most effective equipment and technology that could be established for the network equipped with the processing ability for the same current amount of subscribers and traffic.
