Proposals were accepted at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) for the Project to Create and Promote Hometown Mobile Services from November 5 to December 4, 2008.The content of the proposals were assessed by an evaluation group of outside experts, and the ministry now announces the selected entrustee candidates after considering the assessments.
Project Outline
(1) Entrustees
Municipalities, special wards, and their affiliated entities (including wide-area unions and partial unions).
(2) Entrusted Project Details
Entrusted by the MIC, each entrustee will build a Model Hometown Mobile Project (a series of efforts to revitalize a regional community through hometown mobile services such as planning, designing, and developing systems, continuing their operation, building the infrastructure needed for them, etc.).
