The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will publish the organizations which will implement projects dealing with the 2009 budget based on the Economic Crisis Measures (Decision on April 10, 2009, Economic Crisis Measures from the government, governing party, and economic measure cabinet conference joint session), faced with the total transition to digital broadcasting on July 24, 2011.

Terrestrial television broadcasting will be ending analog broadcasting and making a total transition to digital broadcasting on July 24, 2011. In order to realize this change, it is necessary to fully acquire the understanding of the public in regards to methods to deal with digital broadcasting, and preparing and developing an environment to receive the broadcasts.
