The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will announce the four R&D challenge results which ended in FY 2008 concerning the R&D to Expand Radio Resources, held using sources from the radio use fees.

Aiming to develop the worlds most cutting edge wireless broadband environment, the MIC will be holding the R&D to Expand Radio Resources to alleviate the frequencies below 6GHz which are being squeezed by extremely crowded use by realizing technology which will promote the shared use of frequencies and technology for effective use frequencies.
Therefore, the results of the meeting will be introduced to the public, along with researchers and others involved with the purpose of exchanging ideas concerning ways to further take advantage of the research results.
