The Telecommunications Council’s Broadcasting System Committee (Chairman: Susumu ITO, Professor of the University of Tokyo's School of Science) investigated Multi-Media Broadcasting Methods to Portable Devices, which is among the Technical Requirements Related to the Broadcasting System.
Since the draft report was compiled, public opinion from a wide range of citizens was invited as outlined below.

Outline of the Telecommunications Council
According to Inquiry No. 2023, the necessary technical requirements to promptly realize the start of new multi-media broadcasting services in July 2011 were investigated at the Broadcasting System Committee of the Telecommunications Technology Subcommittee.
