The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has formulated the 2009 ICT International Competitiveness Enhancement Program based on the studies from the ICT International Competitiveness Council.

Background

The MIC has been expanding policies to enhance the international competitiveness of the ICT industry since the formulation of the ICT International Competitiveness Enhancement Program (Revised in July 2008 as the ICT International Competitiveness Enhancement Program ver.2.0) in May 2007.
The 4th assembly for the ICT International Competitiveness Council was held on June 15, and along with the ICT International Competitiveness Enhancement Program ver.2.0, the 2009 ICT International Competitiveness Enhancement Program as been formulated as the action plan to strengthen international competitiveness over the next three years.
The MIC will continue to actively work on policies to strengthen ICT International Competitiveness based on this new program.
