Selections were made today for enterprises to receive subsidies for the fiscal 2009 Scheme for Supporting ICT Human Resources Training Businesses.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and Yokosuka Research Park, Inc. (an organization supporting ICT human resources training businesses) implement the scheme to subsidize part of the necessary costs for third-sector corporations, corporations, foundations and NPOs in the ICT human resources training business that are engaged in such business in order to develop human resources with specialized knowledge and skills in the ICT sector.

YRP received 79 applications upon making a public call (from April 10 through May 15, 2009) for training entities engaged in the ICT human resources training business.

MIC and YRP examined the applications and selected 34 applications as ICT human resource training entities.
