Results of the Inviting of Public Opinion Regarding the Evaluation Results Proposal for the FY2008 Radio Wave Usage Condition Survey

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) received five comments after accepting public comments from May 14 to June 12, 2009 concerning the Evaluation Results Proposal for the FY2008 Radio Wave Usage Condition Survey. The MIC intends to submit the evaluation results proposal to the Radio Regulatory Council that is planned to be held on Wednesday, July 8th 2009, based on the results of the public comments.

Outline

The Radio Wave Usage Condition Survey is based on the Radio Act (Act of 1950, No. 131) No. 26 Article 2, and is implemented according to the ministry ordinance (MIC ministry ordinance No. 110, 2002) concerning radio wave use condition surveys to promote the comprehensive and willful policies that contribute to the effective use of the radio waves. This survey was conducted to understand the radio wave usage conditions of frequency bands of wireless stations below 770MHz.
