The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) held the Radio Wave Policy Panel (Chairman: DOI Norihisa, Professor of Chuo University Faculty of Science and Engineering) in October, 2008. Public Comments were accepted from May 30 to June 19, 2009 regarding the Radio Wave Policy Panel Report which was put together at the meeting, and a total of 12 comments were submitted.
MIC will publish the opinions of the panel based on the results of the public comments and Radio Wave Policy Panel Report along with the New Radio Wave Industry Creation Strategy.

Background and Purpose

The MIC held the Radio Wave Policy Panel on October 9, 2008, with the purpose of investigating the policies for effective use of radio waves during the 2010's, based on the developments of radio wave usage technology in the future and international movements, along with making clear the issues faced in Japan to realize the future image of radio wave usage during the 2010's.
