The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has received the mid-term response from the Information and Communications Council (Chairman: Takuma OTOSHI, President of IBM Japan), concerning Promoting the Distribution of Digital Contents and a Legal System to Strengthen the Competitiveness of Contents (Consultation No. 8 of 2004 and No. 12 of 2007) as of July 10, 2009.
Public comments will be accepted concerning this midterm response.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 28, 2009 at 5PM.
