The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) has revised the General Digital Broadcasting Promotion Measures which puts together the policies that should be implemented in the future in anticipation of the total transition to digital broadcasting on July 24, 2011. This was reported to the People's Digital Broadcasting Movement Promotion Headquarters held today.

Background

Television broadcasts are scheduled to change over from analog to digital broadcasting by July 24, 2011.
The MIC has put together policies which should be implemented in anticipation of the total transition to digital broadcasting since July of last year, along with the General Digital Broadcasting Promotion Measures.
