The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) Telecommunications Policy Institute has been holding the Overseas Telecommunications Judicial Research Group (Chairman: Masao HIRIBE, Professor of Hitotsubashi University) since March 2008. The results of judicial research up until now has been put together and published in the First Series of the Overseas Telecommunications Judicial Research Group Reports.

Background

This research group has been held since March 2008, with the purpose of contributing to the formulation of future telecommunication policy in Japan, through the judicial research of various countries in relation to telecommunications policy.
