Accepting Applications for the 2010 Telecommunications Service Monitor


The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) is actively involved in promoting the telecommunication administration from the viewpoint of the user so that the public can use better telecommunication services with assurance.
Therefore, the MIC is accepting applications for the 2010 Telecommunications Service Monitor from Monday, March 1st to Friday, April 2nd 2010 to hear the opinions and desires of the public concerning telecommunication services.

Qualification Requirements

Those over the age of 20 who have an interest in the Internet and telecommunication services and are able to perform the activities described in section 2 may apply. However, those who have worked for the MIC or a telecommunications company or their related family may not apply.

As a rule, applications are limited to those who have no experience with the telecommunications service monitor.

Details of Activities

1. Answer a questionnaire given by the MIC (everyone must answer the questionnaire which is conducted twice a year).
2. Attend the monitor conference which is held by the MIC at various locations and is planned to be held once a year.

Length of Duties

The ten months starting from Tuesday, June 1st 2010 and ending Thursday, March 31st , 2011.
