Global ICT Strategy Bureau
Planning, formulating, and promoting a comprehensive policy for regulating and encouraging the electronic distribution of information
- Planning and formulating a basic policy for the electronic distribution of information and the use of radio waves relevant to the research, development, and exploitation of the space
- Providing a system and other environments for smoothing the electronic distribution of information
- Among the development, improvement, and adjustment of the telecommunication and broadcasting businesses, the issues on strengthening their international competitiveness
- Setting the frequency standard values, sending standard radio signals, and broadcasting the standard time
- Setting the technological standards on wired and wireless telecommunication facilities
- Conducting the research and development of the technologies for the electronic distribution of information and the use of radio waves
- Among clerical work concerning the sophistication of telecommunications, the issues on the electronic distribution of information
- Issues on the electronic distribution of information and the use of radio waves in massive technological developments for space exploitation

- Regulations on the installation and use of wired or wireless telecommunication facilities for the electronic distribution of the information on broadcasting
- Promoting the provision of wired or wireless telecommunication facilities for the electronic distribution of information
- Promoting the electronic distribution of information between the headquarters of international and other broadcasting, and the facilities overseas
- Providing a system and other environments for smoothing the electronic distribution of the information on telecommunications products
- Regulating and encouraging the electronic distribution of information
- Developing, improving, and adjusting the broadcasting business
- Issues on the postal business
- Increasing the convenience of local citizens by exploiting post offices

- Developing, improving, and adjusting the telecommunication business
- Securing important communications during the state of emergency
- Supervising and managing frequency allocation and usage
- Supervising and correcting the state and quality of radio waves, and detecting illegally opened radio stations and illegally installed high frequency facilities
- Preventing or mitigating the losses due to the effects that radio waves have on wireless and other facilities
- Promoting the use of radio waves
- Making contact with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and administrative government offices overseas, and with international radio wave monitoring organizations on the use of allocated frequencies and interferences
