As the result of deliberations, the Telecommunications Council reported to the MIC that it would be appropriate to set the "standard charge index" as proposed in the inquiry. Additionally, the MIC was requested to study the price cap framework that meets the dynamic environmental changes that are taking place in the telecommunications market with the move to IP networks and to take necessary measures, while maintaining consistency with the related law systems, to ensure that the telecommunications services that are essential to people's lives as well as economic activities can continue to be offered at an affordable cost. |
