As a ubiquitous society progresses, the ICT industry will play the role of the foundation for all industries. All industries, including agriculture, forestry, fisheries, logistics, traffic, electric power, and healthcare will be able to take ICT for granted.
For example, amid this change, businesses that handle information, such as those in the conventional retail, distribution, publication, advertising, and financial services industries, will integrate with the ICT industry along with the spread of ubiquitous networks, and barriers that once separated industries will grow less distinct.
In addition, with the emergence of the various business opportunities that ubiquitous networks bring, new higher value-added business will be created. This will certainly occur in the ICT industry, but also in stages in the medical, educational and other industries that use ICT. All of this will stimulate and invigorate ubiquitous network-related Industries as a whole.
