Initiatives of Telecommunications Carriers in Response to Request for Payment Deadline Extension and Request for Securing Communications Environment for Students’ Learning due to the Spread of the Effects of Novel Coronavirus Infections
Four associations related to telecommunications carriers (Telecom Services Association, Telecommunications Carriers Association, Japan Cable and Telecommunications Association, and Japan Internet Providers Association) have taken the initiatives specified below in response to requests from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) for payment deadline extensions and to secure a communications environment for student learning due to the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
