Examination of Certification by the Type Mentioned in Paragraph 1 of Article 38-16 of the Law and Examination of Certification by the Type Mentioned in Paragraph 6 of Article 38-17 of the Law (Related to Articles 11, 23, 41 and 49)

Examination of certification by the type mentioned in Paragraph 1 of Article 38-16 of the Law and examination of certification by the type mentioned in Paragraph 6 of Article 38-17 of the Law shall be conducted as follows.

1. Examination of type
   Examination shall be conducted as to whether the type involved in the application conforms with technical regulations.
2. Examination by collation and characteristic test
   Provisions of 1-(2) and 1-(3) of Attached Table No.3 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the examination of a piece of Specified Radio Equipment based on the type involved in the application (including the method of confirmation related to the said application) or examination of the Notice of Recognized Test Results and photographs, etc. of the Specified Radio Equipment concerned. In this case, "proviso of Article 3 or 31" in 1-(2) and 1-(3) of Attached Table No.3 shall be read "proviso of Article 22 or 48".
3. Examination of confirmation method
   Through checking the statement of confirmation method and a piece of Specified Radio Equipment based on the type involved in the application (including the method of confirmation related to the said application), examination shall be conducted as to whether it is possible to ensure that any and all Specified Radio Equipment based on the type involved in the application will meet the type concerned. However, in the case where a piece of Specified Radio Equipment has not been submitted pursuant to the proviso of Article 22 or 48, examination shall be conducted through checking the statement of confirmation method and the Notice of Recognized Test Results and photographs, etc.
