This home page, "Nippon Inventory" was drawn up as a part of "Global Inventory". Global Inventory Project (GIP) is one of the eleven joint projects agreed upon at the "G-7 Ministrerial Conference on the Information Society" which was held in Brussels, in February 1995. The aim of GIP is to develop databases of information on each nation's projects contributing to the information society. Though this inventory remains at the pilot stage owing to a shortage of information, before long, the latest information on various projects will be included and renewed continuously, under cooperation with each G-7 nation and European Commission, taking into consideration your opinions.

Nippon Inventory presently consists of "Inventory of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI)" and "Inventory of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPT)". You can access either by clicking the respective icons below:
