BRIEF OVERALL PROJECT SUMMARY:
 This project is to demonstrate multimedia info-communication services which integrate telecommunication and broadcasting, for example, video on demand, ITV-shopping, telephone & PC-communication services by CATV network and public
information services.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
 To investigate how multimedia can change people's lifestyles and to introduce them to the Information Society.

USE OF INFORMATION/TELEMATIC TECHNOLOGIES:
A fiber optic/coaxial cable hybrid network will be built, through which ATM and MPEG2 technology will be used.

The project will demonstrate a prototype of the Information Society.
TIME SCHEDULE TO COMPLETION:
The experiments are scheduled to begin in 1996.
