BRIEF OVERALL PROJECT SUMMARY:

This is an experimental project of Electronic Commerce on the Internet and Broadband network which is led by SMEs, telecommunication carriers, manufacturer and etc. in cooperation with G7 members and APEC economies.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

1. Economic Activation by Experiment of EC/EDI/CALS on the Internet
2. SMEs Participation in Experimental Environment
3. Creation of New Businesses by;
1)Developing advanced multimedia applications such as 3D through Internet and ATM networks
2)Developing next generation EC System using advanced multimedia applications

EXPECTED/ACTUAL RESULTS:

Creation of a basis for EC/EDI/CALS by SMEs and other organizations Realization of New Multimedia Applications For New Businesses

TARGET GROUPS:

PARTNERS/ACTORS IN THE PROJECT:

Each member of CyberBusiness Association Japan (CBAJ), Telecommunication Advancement Organization (TAO), Telecom Services Association of Japan(TSA), Foundation for Multimedia Communications (FMMC), Japan Electronic Messaging Association(JEMA) and other SMEs, manufacturer etc.

USE OF INFORMATION /TELEMATIC TECHNOLOGIES:

Internet, Security System, Digital Money, EDI, Multimedia Technology such as 3D Image etc.
