BRIEF OVERALL PROJECT SUMMARY:

This project is one of BBCC's B-ISDN application experiment projects. This project demonstrates validity of B-ISDN for remote education as well as development of curriculum and systems through experimental education (English conversation, and others) via B-ISDN.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

a) To provide effective education with students and teachers in separate locations via B-ISDN using image communication, database and multimedia teaching materials.
b) To find the most effective and user-friendly teaching materials, methods and systems through experimentation.

EXPECTED/ACTUAL RESULTS:

a) Development of educational materials and curriculum supporting B-ISDN.
b) Demonstration proving the validity of B-ISDN as a key way to pursue off-site education
c) Newly invented systems and equipment for experimental use.
