The Last Days of Ancient Roman City of Pompei
This is a composite multimedia data base featuring moving images along with a data base of still images depicting scenes of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii which was buried deep below the earth's surface after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D. 79. Included are numerous depictions of the life style and customs of the Roman Era created with computer graphics. The work was supervised by Professor Masanori Aoyagi, an internationally-recognized scholar of Roman history at Tokyo University.
